Agassi VS Sampras -Autobiography My Take

It was in the late 2010 that I finished reading Open -written by Andre Agassi and in the mid of 2011 I finished A champion's Mind: Lessons from a life in tennis written by Pete Sampras, both of them a cult figure across the globe and their rivalry is something like coke and Pepsi- the only difference being , earlier not featured as any case study of an MBA curriculum.

What I love about open is that Andre has stripped his mind in hs writing the way he shares his emotions as he is growing , his relation with his coach ,love life, drugs everything is brilliant .While reading it I felt that I am an invisible person sitting in tennis court as match is going on.

Stop thinking start feeling

On the other hand Pete has I think not shred all the inhibitions while writing his book. I was not able to have a look into his mindset although waht he has written is absolute class. HIs growing up, practice sessions ,warrior moments is sheer excellence

You either live by the sword or die by it

I will say if Open is Suzuki Hayabusa then Champions mind is Harley Davidson indeed. I personally find style of open superb as compared to latter however both have one thing in common .

The control that these tennis legends have over their mind is phenomenal.

My take read both of them each one is like palying tennis on grass or clay :)

Bhasad भसड

Urban Dictionary defines भसड (read Bhasad) as "when people have nothing to do and doing bakchodi simultaneously, the environment is referred to as bhasad" but I will refine the definition of bhasad as when people have nothing to do and they do bakchodi and the outcome is a utter chaos which usually kicks the shit out of innocent doggies in the end.

Now days you can find pinch of भसड or rather Punch of भसड in everything and anything that you see.  Lets start with a very simple example. Small kiddos are troubled by the भसड process of taking admissions into primary school where they are trained to become robots and hard coded to act in a particular fashion hence killing the freshness.Try to cross any round about at 06:00 PM in evening and you an see bhasad of cars stuck up @ baby round about. I wonder what a round about  feels at that time. I even remember Mamura Chowk, Noida ( Google it) @ 6 PM in the evening. Cops using a rope as barricade to control traffic. That is Bhasad …

My Journey in Ferozepur

As I am about to write this after a long time sitting in the most unexpected places, I look back and smile. I have worked across weasels in Chandigarh ,Noida, Gurgaon & Ludhiana but I never knew I will be given a chance to work in Ferozepur as well.
For the first time readers, Ferozepur is 230 KM away from Chandigarh, where I was born. The city has a history of it’s own and boast places like Hussaini-Wala border, Barki and a key-position for Indian Army and their area is marked as Ferozepur-Cantt. You go 10 KM from here and you can see border of Pakistan on the banks of Satluj. I wish I could export all my evil bosses over there. Within radius of 5 KM you can watch the entire town. Things which I like are:-

Non Congested Roads:-  Traffic density is really low and you dont lose your’ nerve while standing on the red lights. Oh, I forgot to mention standing on lights is optional as in major cities of Punjab.

Vehicle with No Ancestral Roots: While driving sometimes we forgot to take li…
